Through the Year with ylaa – A Look Back at Shared Experiences

At our bilingual ylaa daycare, we experience the seasons consciously together with the children. From the first warm rays of spring sunshine to snowy winter days – each season brings special moments and valuable learning experiences.

Aligned with seasonality and regionality, we create our menu plan. Together, we explore which fruits and vegetables are in season and observe how nature changes throughout the year. Whether it’s a walk through colorful autumn forests, playing at the water playground in summer, or visiting the Basel Christmas Market in winter – we always find exciting outings that help the children discover the Basel region.

Rain or shine, and even in the snow, we head outdoors equipped with the right clothing. This makes every season an experience filled with joy, movement, and discoveries.
