Experiencing Nature Up Close – Our Monthly Farm Visit

Once a month, we take the children on a walk to a nearby farm, where they can explore nature with all their senses. They get to meet sheep, goats, donkeys, chickens, and a friendly farm dog, observe feeding routines, listen to the animals’ sounds, and feel their fur. Through these hands-on experiences, they naturally develop respect for animals and gain their first insights into their needs and way of life.

Beyond interacting with the animals, there is much more to discover: A large sandbox invites children to dig and build, a trampoline offers space for movement and fun, and the sight of impressive tractors sparks curiosity about farming.

These regular visits provide valuable learning opportunities in a natural setting. The children expand their vocabulary, refine their sensory skills, and experience a strong sense of community—all while engaging in free exploration and discovery.
